The waiting list and your privacy
Last updated 24 October 2026
This notice covers this website and the Paryta waiting list only. Paryta is not open yet. The app will have its own full privacy notice before anyone can use it.
Who we are
The controller of your information is Alex Tucker, trading as Paryta. You can contact us about your information at hello@paryta.co.uk.
What we collect
- Your email address.
- If you choose one, what describes you best: a parent or carer, a grandparent or helper, a club or group leader, someone from a school or PTA, or a childminder.
- Whether you ticked the box to help test Paryta early.
- The date and time you joined, and when you confirmed your email.
We do not ask for your name, your children's details or anything else.
Why we use it
- To email you when Paryta opens.
- If you ticked the box, to invite you to test Paryta before it opens.
- If you told us what describes you best, to send you the right first email, for example the one for clubs rather than the one for families.
We do not use it for anything else. We do not sell it, share it with other companies for their own use, or use it for advertising.
Our lawful basis
We rely on your consent (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(a)), which you give by joining the list. You can withdraw it at any time, and that does not affect anything we did before you withdrew it.
Where it is kept and who can see it
Only the people building Paryta can see your details. This website and the waiting list are hosted by Cloudflare, Inc., which acts as our processor. The waiting list is stored in a Cloudflare database kept in the European Union. Cloudflare may process information outside the UK and EU under the safeguards in its data processing addendum.
When you join, we send you one email asking you to confirm your address, and one more when you have confirmed. These emails are sent through Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, France), which acts as our processor. If you do not confirm within 30 days, we delete your details.
How long we keep it
We keep your details until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them, or until three months after Paryta opens, whichever comes first. If Paryta does not open, we delete the whole list.
Unsubscribing and deleting your details
Every email we send tells you how to unsubscribe. You can also email hello@paryta.co.uk from the address you joined with and ask us to remove you. We will delete your details and confirm when it is done.
Your rights
You have the right to ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a form you can take elsewhere. Email hello@paryta.co.uk. We will answer within one month.
No cookies and no tracking
This website does not use cookies. It has no analytics and no advertising trackers, and it loads nothing from other companies: no fonts, scripts or images from anywhere else. See our cookies note.
To stop the form being misused, we keep a scrambled, one-way form of the IP address of each attempt to join for no more than one hour, to limit repeated attempts. It is never stored with your entry. We do not keep logs of visitors' IP addresses ourselves. Like any website host, Cloudflare processes visitors' IP addresses to deliver this site and protect it from attacks, and keeps its own short-lived logs for that purpose.
Children
The waiting list is for adults. Please do not join if you are under 18.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have used your information, please tell us first at hello@paryta.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK's data protection regulator: ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint, or call 0303 123 1113.
Changes to this notice
If we change this notice, we will update the date at the top. If a change affects how we use your details, we will email you before it happens.
