Accessibility
Last updated 24 October 2026
We want everyone to be able to use this website, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard, voice control or larger text.
What we aim for
This website aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. You should be able to:
- zoom in to 200% and make the text larger without anything being cut off or needing to scroll sideways
- use the whole site with a keyboard, with a visible outline on whatever has focus
- use a screen reader: every page has headings, landmarks, a link to skip to the main content, and labels on every form field
- read it on a phone from 320 pixels wide
- turn off motion: the site respects the reduce motion setting on your device
Text and controls meet the WCAG contrast ratios, and colour is never the only way something is shown.
How we checked
We tested the site ourselves on 24 October 2026 with automated checks (axe) and by hand: with a keyboard, at 320 pixels wide and at 200% zoom.
What is not perfect yet
The pictures of the Paryta app on this site are images. Each one has a text description, and the words around it describe the same things. If you find anything else that is hard to use, please tell us.
Tell us about a problem
If something on this site does not work for you, or you need the information in another format, email hello@paryta.co.uk. Please tell us the page and what went wrong. We read every message.
The app
The Paryta app is being built to the same standard: large touch targets, labels on everything, text that grows with your phone's text size, and a dark look called Midnight.
